The inLusso Burger Recipe

The inLusso Burger

Serves 4

If you buy really good quality beef mince, there isn’t much you need to do with it.

Salt and pepper, loosely combine, rub the outside with olive oil and season heavily with coarse salt and cracked pepper. Done!

But sometimes you crave a little more flavour and that’s how this burger was born.

This recipe will ramp your patties up to 100!

When I cook these particular burgers, I go all out. 200g patties, homemade quick-pickle, aged cheddar, and sometimes I even make an Irish whisky glaze and cheddar cheese sauce. (You’ll have to wait for that baby to land in your inbox, though!)

  • 800g Good quality beef mince
  • A big handful continental parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Season-All Spice
  • 1 tbsp cracked pepper
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 4 eggs
  • 8 rashers bacon
  • 4 thick slices aged cheddar cheese
  • 1 small Spanish onion, sliced
  • 2 tomaotoes, sliced
  • 8 lettcue leaves
  • 1 sm tin pineapple, drained
  • 4 burger buns of choice, we’ve used butter buns

Place mince, parsley, season-all, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl and gently mix to combine.

Divide into four equal portions and gently roll into a ball then, flatten gently into a thick patty, place in the fridge ideally for a couple of hours.

Preheat your grill to high heat. Preheat your grill plate to medium heat.

Cook the bacon and eggs on the grill plate to your liking and set aside loosely covered with foil.

Rub the patty with olive oil; season the outside of your patties heavily with salt and pepper. Place on the grill, close the lid and cook for about five mins.

Turn the patty and cook for a further 3 mins or until almost cooked to your liking.

Place the cheese on the burgers and close the lid to melt the cheese.

Build It Baby Build It!

Now its time to build that baby up!

Pile it high and stick a skewer through the middle so it doesn’t fall over!
